A Premier Piece for A Museum Collection
Concord Coach No. 5 is regarded by antiquarians and historians alike as nearly priceless, but owner David Woods is ready to sell.

"It's the lowest known serial numbered coach in the world,' Woods said. "The next closest known serial number is number 14. The coach in the Smithsonian in number 39. It's a premier piece for any museum collection."

I want the coach to return to a museum along its original route in Maine. I'm trying to find a benefactor who'll use it as a 501-C3 tax write-off," Woods reported to the Cody Enterprise this year. "It's a great investment and an opportunity to own a piece of American History. It would benefit the community, a museum and the benefactor."
